The Deluxe Madake Shinai is the finest model in KuSakura's Kendo weapons line. Entirely made from high-quality Japanese Madake bamboo, this model is adaptable to any type of practice. The Madake is a variety of bamboo only growing in regions with high-temperature differences, which is the case in Japanese bamboo forests. As a result, we get a denser bamboo with greater durability than its Keichiku counterpart but it might also seem less flexible. This Shinai's balance and shape are quite standard, making it an ideal choice for advanced practitioners looking for a simple Shinai made from high-quality bamboo.

Made in Japan from Japanese Madake bamboo, this product is only available in sizes 38 and 39. When ordered assembled, this Shinai is provided with a Tsukagawa made from tanned leather (grip handle) and a white Tsuru.
